La House approva il Bailout plan

Dopo il Senato, anche la Camera dei Rappresentanti approva il piano di bailout predisposto dal ministro del Tesoro Paulson. Dopo la bocciatura di lunedì, l'ampio consenso del Senato ha trovato un'eco nel voto dei Rappresentanti. La misura è stata approvata con una maggioranza di 263 a 171. Tra le file dei dissidenti repubblicani e democratici, le leadership sono riusciti a recuperare un numero simile di voti favorevoli. I sì dei Dems sono cresciuti da 140 a 172, mentre quelli del Gop sono passati da 65 a 91.
